A Felf Story: Part 3 of 3

I’m just glad that I’m not a slave. But I think my mom will sign me up for slave school next year! I hate watching the slaves, and I NEVER wanted to be one in my whole entire life” Julia said. I looked at her like she was a poor person, all sorry for her. I mean, that she is really living a hard life, and I REALLY wanted to do something about it. That trouble that she had was bonking me on the head, asking me to do something for her. So I decided to speak up a little bit.

“Uh. . . If it is Okay with your Mom, I can invite you over to my school, and see a lot friends at my school. If she says it is ok, I bet that if we make you into a person, we could get you into school, as a friend of mine” I explained. After that BIG speech, Julia gave it a try, and she asked her Mom if she could go to school with me, and sleep over with me, but for only one day. We begged and begged and begged.
“Please, please, please!” we both begged to Julia’s Mom. Very luckily, her Mom said “yes”! Her Mom is so generous! That means that we could spend the whole day with her!

“Ok! I’ve got the whole rest of the day planned out! We can play with my DS, and we could play some board games” I said all excited.

“Crystal, we don’t have to plan it right now, all I want to do is to go with a flow” she replied to the response. But I kept saying that phrase in my head. Go with a flow. That thought was floating around in my brain.

But I had no time to waste! I wanted to play with my new friend, but first we both have to go through school, but now, for some silly reason, school didn’t seem as bad as it did before.

“Ok, class! I think we have a new student here” the teacher said.

“Oh, that is just my cousin, that is just visiting for the day” I said.

“Oh, I get it!” . “Here is the first question. What is 8x12?” The teacher asked the class. Julia shot her hand up, right up in the air. I was struggling with that problem.

“The answer is 96!” Julia answered with bravery.

“That’s right !” The teacher said. I took a piece of paper out of my journal, and wrote how did you know that answer so quickly? I passed it to her . She saw the note and wrote on the back, My Mom wanted me to start learning fast facts at the age of 5. I saw the note. Now I felt even more sorry for her! We went through the rest of school, and went on the bus, and had a race all the way home.

I soon as we arrived at my house, Julia was so amazed at my huge house. I wobbled her, and tugged her into the living room where my DS was. We played a game together on the DS, played a board game, and we finally decided to go outside. I kept hearing the word “WOW!” out of Julia’s mouth. She was amazed at everything I was allowed to do, and what I had. We played with each other, and did cart wheels, and hand stands on the grass. We both complimented about the amazing stunts that we could both do. It was getting pretty late so we went inside, and we ate dinner. After that, we went to bed.

All I was thinking about in my sleep was about Julia. It was weird how she thought that all the things that I had, were so amazing to her! I was thinking, maybe I could be grateful for the things that I had right now, and be grateful that I don’t have to be a slave like Julia might be in the computer. That saying, go with a flow has a meaning to it. It is that you have to go in a flow through life. So if I ever think anything is hard, I should just say to myself, I’m going to get through it, and that is what the saying, go with a flow means.

THE END
